Amazon Web Services Says Outage Has Been Resolved, Though Some Backlogs Still Being Processed
The Amazon Web Services outage that, at one point, saw Amazon Music, Prime Video, Alexa, Signal, WhatsApp, Snapchat, IMDb, Disney+, Fortnite, Roblox and Wordle down or suffering slowdowns, has been resolved.
It wasn’t a hack, but instead it had a Domain Name System or DNS error that occurred at AWS’s US-EAST-1 location in northern Virginia.
