Champion Liverpool suffered a fourth successive Premier League defeat as it lost 3-2 at Brentford on Saturday to continue its miserable run of form in the capital.

Liverpool have lost four consecutive matches across all competitions for the first time since November 2014, with the Reds losing three Premier League games in a row for the first time since February 2021.

The Reds enjoyed a blistering start to their title-defending campaign, winning all seven of their opening games across all competitions. Despite this, however, Liverpool did not earn these wins convincingly and sure enough, their run of late winning goals came to an end.

The UEFA Champions League has reached Matchday 4 and there are nine matches set for both Tuesday, Nov. 4 and Wednesday, Nov. 5.
