Monday Night Football is nationally broadcast by ESPN and ABC under a rights deals that runs through the 2033 season. Since those channels are currently blacked out on YouTube TV, subscribers can’t stream MNF or any ESPN programming, including SportsCenter, NFL Live, or Monday Night Countdown.

ABC Could Return to YouTube TV, but Only If This Happens
The company also noted that during the last two U.S. elections, “the vast majority of tuned-in YouTube TV subscribers chose not to watch ABC,” further supporting its reasoning for not restoring the network temporarily. Simply put, the company doesn’t think it makes sense.
The dispute is between Google and Disney, which owns the ABC television network, and affects all affiliates of the network, including /KSFY. /KSFY is caught in the middle of this dispute and encourages both sides to reach an agreement quickly.
“Unfortunately, Google’s YouTube TV has chosen to deny their subscribers the content they value most by refusing to pay fair rates for our channels, including ESPN and ABC,” a Disney spokesperson told Variety Magazine in a report on Oct. 30.
