Indiana Gov. Mike Braun directed flags statewide to be flown at half-staff Nov. 5, in which he encouraged "Hoosiers to help honor Cheney's life and legacy," according to a news release issued Wednesday from Braun's office.

While White House flags were lowered to half-staff in remembrance of Cheney on Tuesday, there was no fanfare, and Trump made no comment about Cheney's death on social media.

“Dick Cheney was a giant in American politics, and his impact will be felt for decades,” said Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.).
