Week 10 of the College Football season is in the books, and their is a new Heisman Trophy favorite, and a new leader in the Power Rankings.

BYU was the overwhelming pick for the top spot in this week’s Big 12 power rankings ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. The Cougars received 14 of 16 first-place votes from a panel of media who regularly cover the league.

Even though they sat idle on a bye week, the Iowa Hawkeyes' recent performances have them climbing in the CBS Sports power rankings.

Week 10 didn’t feature any ranked matchups in the Big Ten, and with no surprising results, the top of the conference power rankings largely remained intact. The top two teams continue to separate themselves from the pack with dominating victories once again, but there are still six teams in contention for the Big Ten crown.
