Venezuela says it is launching a “massive mobilization” of military personnel, weapons and equipment in response to the build-up of US warships and troops in the Caribbean Sea.

Venezuela is reportedly deploying weapons, including decades-old Russian-made equipment, and planning to mount a guerrilla-style resistance or sow chaos in the event of a U.S. air or ground attack.
