The Georgia Court of Appeals has reinstated a firearm conviction in a 2024 Bibb County fatal shooting case, ruling that the trial court improperly set aside the jury’s verdict. The case now returns to Superior Court for sentencing.

The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office appealed the judge’s decision to vacate one of the suspect’s charges in 2024.
