It's going to be a long offseason full of decisions for the Seattle Mariners and they reportedly got an easy one out of the way on Tuesday. MLB.com's Daniel Kramer reported that the Mariners are picking up two-time All-Star Andrés Muñoz's $7 million option for the 2026 season.

He also has a slider and a sweeper, which are both about 10 mph slower than his fastball.
The Mariners have acquired right-hander Cole Wilcox from the Rays in exchange for cash considerations, per announcements from both clubs. The righty had been designated for assignment by the Rays earlier in the week. The M’s had 40-man space thanks to players recently becoming free agents.
