Democrat Abigail Spanberger cruised to victory Tuesday night and could end up challenging some of the biggest win margins in recent Virginia governor elections.

With about 41% of the expected vote tabulated in northern Virginia’s Fairfax County, the Democrat leads Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, 74.3% to 25.5%.
